If you listen carefully, you'll easily notice some elements of stoner, 1960's psychedelia or 1970's prog rock, as well as thrash metal, grunge and goth rock. Qwentin accepts all those labels - and answers by none of them.To make things more interesting, Qwentin's songs don't have choruses nor do they abide to a mandatory language, and they gravitate towards a certain degree of on-stage theatrics. ºº MONCHMONCH: onomatopoeia used to express bites or something being devoured. It digests rock and experimental music into an anthropophagic feat. Their music smiles and shows fragile canines, ready to bite. They build sound landscapes that chase you like a dream. Absurd narratives that conflict with reality, an dreamlike map to detonate dynamite inside the monster's entrails. Grunting pain, pleasure, sadness and hatred, they surf nightmares and insinuatingly grind against them.
