Use Filters and Refine

Not every influencer or media partner is going to be suitable for your event. Use the filters on the left hand side of the search page to refine by content themes, audience location and a number of other metrics to determine who to approach about your event

Approach With An Open Mind

We have a vast network of influencers and media on the platform who you might not be aware of. If you haven't heard of them or their publication, that doesn't mean they won't be a suitable partner for your event. Check out their page, social media and any information provided and they might be more on brand for your event than you think

Give As Much Information As Possible

Influencers and Media partners, like to know as much about the event as possible before making a decision on coverage or content around your event. Make sure your event description is as in depth as possible, highlighting any performers or key selling points. If you are able to provide guest-list, VIP Access or arrange interviews - you should include this information.

Location Is Not Everything

Remember that influencers and media don't have to be able to ATTEND your event in order to provide coverage. Many of our press and influencer users can provide pre-event coverage such as news posts, line up announcements, event recommendations without being able to attend the event. Pitch your event to as many suitable content creators as you can and see who is able to provide coverage.

Negotiate With Influencers

If you are pitching your event to influencers and discussing a potential budget for posts, feel free to negotiate a price that suits you. Influencers are able to change their prices and send an updated offer, so you should consider offering a price that works better for your budget.

Send A Reminder Message

We regularly send reminders to our influencers and media partners, but sometimes plans can get in the way. If you haven't heard back from a particular curator within a few days then you can send then another message.

Know Your Audience Demographics

The single most important thing an event is going to want to know is: Who is your audience? This means, they will want to know as much information about who you are reaching with your content as possible. Most importantly, is location, but the more information you can provide, the more events are going to want to work with you. We've created a guide on how to find your audience demographics on a range of different platforms below

Find Yor Audience

Be Flexible

Our event partners come in all shapes and sizes and therefore, their marketing budgets will differ. It pays to remember that a first time, independent festival might not have the same budget for influencers as well established event brands. Be flexible with this, discuss via the chat function some potential discounts and content ideas to see what you can collaborate on and build relationships for the future.

Use Our Contract Function

To give you and the event peace of mind about your transaction - we've created a contract function built into the platform. This is an optional part of the process, but if you would like have some peace of mind over payment and content delivery, ask your event partner to sign the two-way contract

Post Your Content On Time

If you are given a time-frame by your event partner, then we suggest you stick to that time frame. Building trust and establishing long-term relationships is the goal of our community - and influencers who do not stick to what they agreed to deliver, will be removed from the site.

Be Willing To Negotiate

Different event partners have different marketing budgets and we want to make it as easy as possible for you to come to an agreement with any events that get in touch. This is why we built our price negotiation tool as part of our community. We recommend you make full use of this and come to a price compromise with event partners whenever possible. This can lead to more opportunities in the future.

Use Our In-Platform Payment Function

Taking payments from events from outside platforms such as paypal, wise or direct bank transfers is strictly prohibited on our platform. We have built a payment platform which allows for seamless, guaranteed and safe payment throughout the platform

Add Your Payment Details

Without adding your payment information, you will not be able to receive payment for receiving pitches and providing feedback. Head to your avatar in the top right of your screen and click "Account Settings". You can then add your "Payout Details".

Can't Attend An Event?

If you can't attend an event in person, don't worry. You can always offer coverage for an event that doesn't focus on reviewing the event in person. Feel free to discuss pre-event coverage, line-up announcements or similar posts that don't rely on attending the event in person.

Ask For More Information

If an event hasn't provided you with key information, assets or details - then you should ask them. Simply reply to their initial pitch and ask if they are able to provide the information you require. Please bear in mind, certain information may be confidential or subject to embargo.

Reply To As Many Pitches As Possible

The best way to improve your rating on the platform and form relationships with events, is to answer your messages and reply to any pitches you receive. Even if the event is not suitable to your tastes, you should always reply to events and provide feedback.

Provide As Much Information As Possible

Use the "Description" text box when making a listing to give as much information as possible about your publication, your audience - or if you are a freelance journalist, the publications you write for or have written for. If you are representing a publication, we highly recommend giving an indication of the location of your readership/ social media following.
